Cost: $15/class + dancing; $10/just dancing

BEGINNER CLASS:
We’re all about sharing the love! Anyone new to West Coast Swing is welcome, and no partner is needed. We’ll cover the fundamental steps, timing, and connection to help you feel confident and enjoy the night. If you’re just starting out, we recommend sticking with these classes for at least three months or joining some of the weekly group lessons at DF or other locations. Building a strong foundation will set you up for success INTERMEDIATE CLASS:
This class taught by some of the best teachers in our local community! You'll be expected to have a good understanding of all of the WCS Basics since we won't be going over them in the class and the class moves quickly. Here are the basics you need to be VERY comfortable with (and have done so for at least 3+ months)

- Sugar Tuck
- Left Side Pass
- Right Side Pass
- Passing Tuck
- Whip
BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE MIXER 9-9:30pm
Once classes wrap up, we encourage our Intermediate dancers to give back by dancing with our Beginners. We’ve all been in their shoes, and a little encouragement makes a big difference! To create a welcoming and supportive space, we’ll play a song and have everyone rotate partners about every 40 seconds. This helps those who may be hesitant to ask for dances get valuable practice with a variety of partners. See you on the dance floor! 🖤💛 #Westiehive #WCS #SLC
