Social dancing has become one of the best ways to release stress, to meet new people without an app, to become part of the community, stay healthy and have extraverted time. It is an absolute blast and a skill that will stay with you and serve you a liftime. DF Dance Studio has been "the" social dance studio in Utah since 2008. You do not need a partner or any experience to get started. Learning with private dance lessons will get you comfortable and confident in your skills and get valuable feedback from a professional. It is just you and your teacher, focused on your goals, your progress and your way of learning. We offer two ways to schedule your private lessons:
1. With our Beginner Monthly Private Membership
This is a recurring monthly membership for Level 1 students at a deep discount. Great way to get good fast and advance into the Level 2 group classes or socials. Membership is recurring, lessons do not roll over to the next month. Select teachers available. One dancer per lesson. 2. With Level up your social dancing packages .
These lessons are for students wanting to have more flexibility on when to take lessons, students who can't come consistently and those wanting to go beyond Level 1 material. Can be scheduled as you go within 1 year. One or two dancers per lesson.

Important info before your 1st lesson
To schedule for the Beginner class click “sign up” above according to your preferred day of the week and style. Prepayment is required to register.
Please wear something comfortable for physical activity to your first lesson and select your footwear carefully. We recommend shoes with semi-smooth soles to avoid sticking or slipping on the dance floor. Dance shoes are available for sale at the studio and are a must for dedicated dancers.
Unless stated otherwise, all of our Level 1 classes can be joined on the 1st and 2nd weeks of the month. On average it takes 10-12 classes to complete Level 1 syllabus. Consider doing Private Lessons to speed up your learning process.
Our group class pricing options are per person. The cost per lesson goes down as students purchase larger packages ranging from $4 to $20 per class. Best deal is our "Unlimited Beginner Monthly Membership" that allows you to come to all Level 1 classes and Beginner workshops.
Dance partners are not required. During each of our group classes, instructors rotate partners regularly. Already have a partner? Great! Although students may choose to stay with a designated partner throughout the class, it is strongly recommended for your learning to rotate and practice with other students for optimal improvement. This practice also improves class quality for your fellow students.
Congratulations! If you have the Beginner steps down, you are ready to move on to Level 2! If you aren’t confident in the Beginner steps, you can take the course again, or book a private lesson. We recommend you talk with your instructor to help you decide your next step.
We love you but we don't offer refunds on anything purchased online or in-studio. However we will gladly switch to another class or teacher to make sure you have the best experience at our studio!
Classes do not roll over past the expiration date of 90 days. Please take a look at our calendar and attend another class at the start of your level. We have many options available!
